Inverness and Ross County were playing out a Highland Derby for the final. It was the 12th time they had played each other in a final. Inverness had come to the final on fire whilst Ross County had struggled and Inverness were favourite to win. Inverness scored early on through Jack Jebb, but County equalised late on after Jack Jebb conceded a penalty and Cameron Crown scored it. After extra time it went to penalties. Liam Polworth took the first spot kick and fired it into the top left hand corner, Crown responded with the same low shot down the middle as he had done earlier to beat Mathieson. Ryan Christie, Tony Dingwall, Jack Jebb, Duncan Corbett, Martin Laing and Martin Groat all scored in succesion. Matt Tyson scored Inverness' fifth followed by Alex Cooper scoring the fifth for County. Stefan O'Connor scored the first sudden death penalty, then Kyle MacLeod had his shot saved by Scott Mathieson, meaning Inverness had won.
